The city of Naples has some of the oldest garages in the county. What we do here
When a torsion spring breaks the door becomes too heavy for the opener and usually will not move. We replace springs as a matched pair, sized to the weight of your door, then balance and test it by hand. Most doors run $200 to $500 installed.
Gulf air and summer humidity rust cables at the bottom bracket and wear rollers flat. We replace cables in pairs, fit sealed rollers, straighten or replace bent track and set the door level so it stops pulling to one side.
Stripped gears, dead logic boards, safety sensors out of line and remotes that stopped working. Most opener repairs run $150 to $300. A new opener supplied and installed is usually $350 to $650 for chain, belt or wall mounted units.
A door knocked off its track or pushed in by wind should not be run with the opener. We secure it, check every panel, hinge and bracket, and tell you plainly whether a repair will hold or the door needs replacing.
A replacement door in Collier County needs a permit, an inspection and a Florida Product Approval for the wind pressure at your address. We handle the paperwork and the inspection, and HOA submissions where your community asks for them. Single doors typically run $700 to $2,000 installed, double doors $1,200 to $4,000.
