Golden Gate is unincorporated Collier County. Golden Gate City is a compact area of single family homes and duplexes, many with an attached one or two car garage that has seen years of daily use. Golden Gate Estates is very different: large lots of an acre or more, long driveways and detached or oversized garages, some with taller doors for trucks and equipment. Taller and wider doors carry more weight, which means larger springs and more strain on the opener, so we check the balance carefully before replacing anything. On the Estates' spread out roads, give us the nearest main road, such as Golden Gate Boulevard or Everglades Boulevard, when you book.

What we do here
When a torsion spring breaks the door becomes too heavy for the opener and usually will not move. We replace springs as a matched pair, sized to the weight of your door, then balance and test it by hand. Most doors run $200 to $500 installed.

A replacement door in Collier County needs a permit, an inspection and a Florida Product Approval for the wind pressure at your address. We handle the paperwork and the inspection, and HOA submissions where your community asks for them. Single doors typically run $700 to $2,000 installed, double doors $1,200 to $4,000.
